March 2023 - PresentUKSEDS National Rocket Championship Volunteer
A volunteer role in UKSEDS, the biggest rocketry society in the UK, aiming to make space more accessible to students. The responsibilities of a volunteer for the National Rocket Championship include;
- The organisation of different events
- Provide support and guidance to teams participating in the competition
- Marking as well as providing feedback for different deliverables throughout the year
- Maintain regular communication with the team's mentors, leading professionals from the UK rocketry industry.

Worked as part of the Project Performance Team. Main responsibilities;
- Supervision of different projects, to ensure all deliverables meet the required business standards and are completed on time
- Provided regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with objectives
- Managed resource allocation, ensuring optimal use of manpower, materials, and equipment.

Mission Lead at Project Sunride & President of Sheffield Space Initiative Society, Sheffield, United Kingdom
Mission Lead for Project Sunride, responsible for the;
- Coordination, planning, problem solving & problem solving of all the requirements to ensure that all projects are efficiently completed on time
- Coordinated and managed all aspects of rocket launches, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational readiness. Led cross-functional teams, resolved technical issues, and communicated with stakeholders to ensure successful launch execution
- Featured on two Greek Media Channel, SKAI & ENA Channel
- Oversaw and participated in the UKSEDS National Rocketry Championship, the UK's largest rocketry competition, where we secured 2nd and 3rd place finishes
- The overall financial health, reputation and development of the group
- Organized a 40+ hour training program with 20 sessions on rocketry, including theory, design, guest speakers and avionics
June 2022 - August 2022
Sheffield Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE), Sheffield, United Kingdom
A 6-week Summer Research programme, under the supervision of Mr Phil Leighton on how photovoltaic cells affect wing performance. In more details;
- Appropriate simulations were used to simulate aircraft's lift, drag and pressure coefficient before and after the implementation
- A financial analysis was also carried out to find the combination of technologies that have the greatest cost savings over the life cycle of the aircraft
- A final risk analysis of the final design was carried out and an investment strategy was proposed
Design Engineer & Vice-President of Sunride Project, Sheffield, United Kingdom
As a Design Engineer for the project, my key responsibilities included;
- Designing and analyzing various rocket components to develop a high-powered, two-stage solid rocket
- Contributed to the creation of concept of operations documents for professional presentations, ensuring mission success
As Vice-President, I;
- Oversaw the weekly training sessions
- Supervised the project's participation in the UKSEDS National Rocketry Championship

Group Projects
September 2022 - May 20233rd Year Group Design Project During Year 3, served as Project Manager for a team of six aerospace engineering students, focused on designing and manufacturing a VTOL (Vertical Take-Off and Landing) vehicle for emergency applications. Responsibilities included; - Managing project documentation (Project Plan, Lessons Learned, weekly updates to the company, budget tracking, build schedule, Air System Safety Case, and Operations Manual).
- Also worked closely with design and integration teams, contributing to the wing design and integration process.
February 2022 - May 20222nd Year Group Design Project Designed and manufactured an air system to meet customer needs outlined in the Statement of Requirements (SOR) as part of a second-year group project.
- Integrated aspects of teamwork, project and risk management, progress tracking, materials, structures, aircraft design, lifecycles, computer simulation, analysis, manufacturing, certification, and sustainability.
- Utilized CAD and structural analysis to reduce the weight of the air system frame while ensuring airworthiness.
- Gained experience in motor and propeller sizing, battery selection, and performance for unmanned air systems, adhering to industry regulations, standards, and certification processes.
- Produced project documentation, weekly status updates, and a presentation slide pack for a panel of experts and non-experts.
- Awarded first place in the competition for successfully meeting all design requirements.
January 2022 - January 2022Engineering You're Hired Participated in a week-long second-year group project to address the challenges posed by Kessler Syndrome, a self-perpetuating cycle of space debris collisions
- Developed a dual-faceted solution: one method for managing existing space debris and another for slowing the growth of new debris.
- Proposed innovative technologies for debris capture, disposal, and satellite lifecycle management, including collision avoidance strategies.
- Awarded an Excellence Award for the creativity and effectiveness of the proposed solution.
January 2021 - January 2021Global Engineering Challenge Week Collaborated with a team of engineering students on a first-year project focused on smart energy solutions for the cities of Lobitos and Piedritas, Peru.
- Researched renewable energy sources suited to the local environments and energy needs of both cities.
- Proposed a mix of solar, wind, and biomass energy solutions, tailored to the specific requirements and resources of each city.
- Considered factors such as infrastructure, cost-effectiveness, and long-term environmental impact in the energy proposals.
- Aimed to create sustainable energy solutions that could improve energy access and support environmental goals for both cities.
